Terms of Service:
Please read thoroughly before inquiry!
To begin the commission process, please message me your idea for your piece. It’s okay if you don’t know exactly what you want! If you tell me an idea of what you’re looking for, I will create the perfect piece for you.
If you do have a reference photo for me to use, please make sure it’s good quality so I can work from it. I may ask you to retake the photo if I can’t depict the details.
Please also include if you’d like a small, medium, or large sized piece and I will list the dimensions I currently have, or if you have a specific dimension, I can cut it to the exact perimeters.
Material:
If you have a piece for me to use, i.e guitar, cutting board, your own wood, picture frame, etc. please inform me in our conversation. I can work with any form of wood, leather, or bone. If you aren’t in my area where we can meet, you will be responsible for the shipping cost of getting the material to me.
If it’s a piece that will hang on the wall, I will include a picture framing kit free of charge. If it’s a cutting board or something that will be used with food, I will use a food-safe stain and finish for your piece. If it’s an outdoor piece, I will use a weatherproof stain/polyurethane.
Pricing:
The total price includes time spent drawing the design, cutting out the preferred dimension, burn-time, and application of stain and finish. Price will vary based on the complexity and dimension of the piece.
IMPORTANT: Please allow time for your piece to be made as I am a one-woman show and make everything from hand. The timeframe depends on how many orders are in queue at the time your order is placed. Please allow for up to a month for a piece to be completed. If you need your piece by a certain time, please mention that in our conversation to get an estimate. I require at least a month’s notice for all pieces.
In order to keep accountability on both ends, I require a downpayment of 50% once we’ve discussed the estimated cost and details of your commission. Once I receive the payment, I’ll begin the process of your piece. This is to respect both my time as an artist and your time as my client. If the estimated cost is under what I quoted, I’ll subtract that amount from the total. For payment, I accept PayPal, Venmo, Zillow, cashier’s check, money order, or personal check. I also accept cash (if you’re in the area).
Once the commission is ready to ship, I will send a photo of the completed piece along with a request for the remaining 50% including shipping and handling. Once the request is completed, the piece will be shipped out the following business day. You will then be sent a copy of the shipping receipt with the tracking number attached.
Due to scheduling, clients have 7 days to cancel before the down payment is required. If I haven’t received the down payment within those 7 days, the order will be canceled. A reminder will be sent to your preferred way of communication within the 7 days.
*I don’t accept returns as everything is made-to-order.
*Each piece is packaged mindfully and thoroughly to ensure protection. Once the piece has been shipped, I am no longer responsible for lost, stolen, or broken pieces.
